Eight recent graduates of Adel-Desoto-Minburn Community Schools made significant contributions for the Tigers baseball team this summer. The Tigers ended the 2018 season Saturday in the Class 3A District 14 opening round, falling 4-2 to the Grinnell Tigers on the road. Multiple seniors led ADM in major statistical categories at the end of the season. Nick Dufoe was the Tigers leader in total hits (28) and innings pitched (47.1). Nick Lindgren topped the squad with 20 runs batted in, 18 runs scored, and six doubles. Gage Fuller forced the most walks (21). Dalton Hews tied Lindgren for the team lead in stolen bases (9), while Ethan Meyer and Lindgren each had two triples each, the most on the squad. ADM closes the campaign with a 13-16 overall record.
