A popular program hosted by the Thomas Jefferson Gardens is starting back up next week.
Board member Becky Greiner says they are conducting six Tuesday Talks starting July 10th and running through August 14th. She talks about why they want to continue hosting the weekly programs.
“Well it’s our second season. It’s just a great way to bring people in during the day just to see our welcome center, and to do our part of educating people on a variety of topics. This time it’s a six-week program and it’s just a free-will donation.”
July 10th’s program will be on “The Art of Historical Broom Making” with Shannon Bardole-Foley leading the presentation. Each program will start at noon at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch or you can reserve a $10 lunch by calling 386-2155 before Tuesday. A list of the other programs can be found below.
