With the Fourth of July holiday this Wednesday, Perry and Adel remind residents of closures throughout the cities.
All Perry City offices, the public library, the McCreary Community Building, and the Water Works Office will be closed in observance of Independence Day. There will be no change to residential garbage and recycle routes this week, as none of them fall on Wednesday. However, there will be no yard waste pickup this week, and it will resume on July 11th for the north side of Willis Avenue.
For Adel, City Hall, the public library, and all other City offices will be closed on July 4th. Also, garbage collection will be delayed by one day the entire week. Finally, all Dallas County offices, including the Courthouse, Drivers License Station, and Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed for the holiday. In addition to the city and county offices being closed, all post offices and banking institutions will be closed on Wednesday as well.
