Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center Superintendent Steve Smith informed Raccoon Valley Radio yesterday that Lance Kading has been named the next Head Boys Basketball Coach for the Chargers.

Kading will take over for Jake Mohling, who resigned after four seasons in Guthrie Center to take the Principal position at Woodward-Granger Middle School. Kading was the Assistant Coach under Mohling last season. ACGC finished their 2017-2018 campaign with a record of 3-19. The move is official pending approval from both Guthrie Center and Adair-Casey School Boards.

Kading becomes the sixth head coaching change in varsity athletics in the last year at ACGC.
