A Marion man was recently sentenced for a January theft in Guthrie Center.
According to court documents, 40-year-old Zac Bratzel was sentenced to a combined ten years probation for four of the eight original charges, as part of his guilty plea. His probation sentences include: three years for first degree theft, a Class C Felony; two years for operating while intoxicated (OWI)-first offense, a Serious Misdemeanor; two years for eluding, a Serious Misdemeanor; and three years for second degree criminal mischief, a Class D Felony.
As part of the deal, the other four charges were also dismissed, including one count each of third degree burglary and second degree criminal mischief, both Class D Felonies. He was also sentenced to 30 days in jail for the OWI charge, with all but two being suspended for time served.
Bratzel pled guilty to stealing a vehicle from the Guthrie Center Rural Electric Company (REC) just after midnight on January 4th.
