A midday thunderstorm washed out yesterday’s nonconference baseball game for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers and Class 4A No. 4 Indianola. The game was the fourth nonconference game the Tigers have lost this summer. ADM hopes to return to competition today on the road against the Chariton Chargers. The Tigers are searching to end a five-game overall losing streak on the road tonight. The Tigers latest loss came Tuesday evening in Adel, falling 3-2 to the Carroll Tigers. ADM came up on the short of end of all four games of their recent conference homestand, being outscored 12-4. The Chargers bring a 3-19 record into tonight’s contest, losing their previous eight games. Weather permitting, first pitch of the varsity game between ADM and Chariton is set for 7:30 p.m. from Chariton High School.
