Although mother nature cooperated with a rainless Tuesday, water from previous storms this month kept the baseball field at West Central Valley Community Schools unplayable. For the second time this week, the Wildcats were set to host the Earlham Cardinals for a pair of West Central Activities Conference varsity games. West Central Valley head baseball coach Justin Keck told Raccoon Valley Radio via text message last night that the teams are looking to reschedule the conference doubleheader for this Saturday in Stuart. Weather and field conditions permitting, the Wildcats will host Southeast Warren in West Central Valley’s senior night game. Varsity first pitch is set for 7 p.m.
