Two Raccoon River Conference baseball teams finished their regular season series in Adel last night. The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers played host to the Winterset Huskies, concluding their two games annual league series. Winterset used a two-run fifth inning to prevail over ADM, 3-2. The game was called in the fifth inning due to rain. Junior Spencer Collins drove in a run and scored another in the loss. Senior Nick Dufoe takes the setback on the mound, throwing all five innings. He allowed three runs, two earned, on seven hits, walking one and striking out three. The result drops ADM’s overall record to 7-13. Weather permitting, the Tigers will resume their season tonight against Carroll Tigers in Adel.
