The next event in the Perry Public Library’s “Discover Space” Adult Summer Reading Program will be happening tonight, and the public is invited to meet a popular local author.
Loretta Ellsworth is an award-winning young adult writer, and she recently wrote a novel aimed more towards adult audiences. Her book is called “Stars Over Clear Lake,” and tells a fictional story centered around a series of events in Clear Lake, Iowa during the 1940’s. Ellsworth will be hosting a discussion of the book tonight in the library’s large meeting room, starting at 6:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend, and no registration is required.
