A department in the Greene County Medical Center was recently honored with their second five-star rating.
The Long Term Care Unit (LTC) received its second consecutive five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Nursing Home Compare. The ratings are updated every quarter and rank overall quality, health inspection, quality measures, staffing and registered nurse staffing. In the most recent report, LTC scored a five-star rating, the highest ranking possible, for overall quality, general staffing and RN staffing. Four stars were awarded for health inspection and quality measures.
Long Term Care Director Lori Harrah said, “The consistent rankings for this past 12 month period really speaks well of the diligent work done by all staff members in Long Term Care who provide quality care that enhances the lives of every resident in very positive ways.”
LTC received it’s first overall five-star rating in July of 2017.
