A pair of West Central Activities Conference victories Thursday night helped the Panorama Panther softball team get their overall record above .500. The Woodward-Granger Hawks paid a visit to Panora for a league doubleheader. Panorama came away with the sweep, winning game one, 7-3, and game two, 11-5. Panorama smacked three home runs in the game one victory, while four Panthers scored two or more runs in game two. Freshman Grace Richey won both games in the circle, allowing a combined two earned runs in 14 total innings pitched, striking out 15 Lady Hawk batters combined. The wins propel Panorama’s overall record to 6-5. The Panthers travel to Guthrie Center this weekend to take part in the AC/GC softball tournament.
