The Churdan Public Library invites everyone to their next fundraiser for their expansion project.

This Sunday the library is hosting a free-will donation meal from 5 to 7pm at the community building. The menu includes pork loin sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, chips, dessert bars and beverages. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the library’s building expansion fund for updated items needed for their new space. Attendees are encouraged to check out the progress of the project.

Ground was broken in April for the library to expand another 1,100-square-feet to the existing 2,300-square-feet of the current facility. The new space will allow for larger programs, along with remodeling the restrooms to be Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant. The project is anticipated to be completed by December.
