The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will begin with an update from the Human Resources Department on the new employee handbook. Following that, the Board will consider for approval an event request from the Iowa Prayer Caucus Network to use the courthouse lawn. Next, they will consider the final acceptance of completion for bid package two for the new law enforcement center, as well as adding a payment for U.S. Erectors to the last week’s pay application. At 9:30 and 9:45 a.m., there will be public hearings to discuss rezone requests, followed by another hearing at 10 for the second reading of proposed changes to the general assistance ordinance.
Other items include a resolution approving an operating transfer, and Board appointments for the Adams Township Clerk. The session will conclude with the canvass from last week’s primary election. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
