There are some more deadlines and meetings coming up for Greene County 4-H’ers ahead of next month’s county fair.

Greene County Extension 4-H and Youth Coordinator Kayla Willms says 4-H’ers need to pay their county fair entry fees by June 15th. That date is also the deadline for 4-H’ers to sign up for Communications Day, that will be held on July 2nd, and it’s also the deadline to register for any fashion show exhibits at the county fair. Forms are available at the Extension office. Willms talks about a reminder for static exhibits.

“For all static exhibits, stop by the office or go online to our website to get your goal card entry forms and your photography goal card, to get those filled out for Static Day on July 10th. Exhibit tags are here at the Extension office for all static projects, so please stop by and pick up a copy.”

Dog practices are on Tuesdays in June from 6 to 8pm, along with Sunday practices on June 10th and the 24th. An outdoor rabbit and poultry meeting will be held at the Greene County Fairgrounds on June 19th at 6:30pm.

This year’s Greene County Fair is from July 10th through the 16th.
