The Perry Parks and Recreation Department is looking for kids in the area who have been bitten by the acting bug for their summer youth theater workshop.
The program is open to kids in 5th-8th grade, and will provide students the opportunity to embrace their inner performer, while also improving their speaking ability and confidence. Rehearsals for the camp will run from June 18-21, from 12:30-2 p.m. at the McCreary Community Building. The week will then culminate on Friday with two performances, at 2 and 5 p.m., in the McCreary Center Theater. Cost to participate is $20 per person, and the deadline for registration is Friday, June 15th.
To sign up for the Perry summer theater workshop, or for more information, stop into or call the McCreary Center at 515-465-5621.
