While spring is considered a good time to clean out closets and garages, June could be considered a time to sell those items in Guthrie County. Several organizations will be hosting yard and garage sales throughout the county over the next two weekends.

The first sales begin today all along White Pole Road. Residents and businesses from communities along the 26-mile stretch, including Dexter, Stuart, Menlo, Casey, and Adair will all be participating this weekend. The following weekend, June 8th and 9th, will be the Heart of Guthrie sales, encompassing the Cities of Panora and Guthrie Center, as well as the Lake Panorama area.

Some non-profits, including churches, will also participate in the sales, with proceeds going back to the organization.
