Perry School Board 5-14

May is National School Board Appreciation Month, and administrators around the country are going out of their way to thank the decision makers at their schools.

Perry Superintendent Clark Wicks is very complimentary of the Perry School Board, whose members include: President Kyle Baxter, Vice-President Linda Andorf, Kenia Alarcon, Casey Baldwin, and Jim Lutmer. “We are very, very fortunate here in Perry to have school board members that are dedicated to this service, are really such strong supporters of kids and the school, and realize their role and responsibility. We are just fortunate that we have people that want to serve in that role and want to do the best for the Perry Community Schools.”

Wicks emphasizes that school board members are elected volunteers, who receive no pay or benefits from their positions. At the recent meeting, he gave special appreciation to the Perry School Board, which included some artwork made by students.
