StuartRecently, the City of Stuart released their 2018 Water Quality Report. Based on the report the City is currently not in violation of any contaminants.

The report measured several contaminant levels, including: lead, copper, chlorine, barium, selenium, fluoride, sodium, and nitrates. The tests were completed between September and December of last year. In most categories, the City’s rate of contamination was 66-90% below the Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL). The one exception below that range was chlorine, which was only 50% below the Maximum Residual Disinfectant Level. Most significantly for the City was the amount of copper in the water supply, which tested at 0 parts per million (ppm) last year.
