The first game of the week for the West Central Valley baseball and softball teams were washed out Tuesday evening. The Wildcats summer sports programs traveled to Earlham Community Schools for a West Central Activities Conference game versus the Cardinals. West Central Valley head baseball coach Justin Keck told Raccoon Valley Radio Tuesday evening that the games were postponed due to heavy rains and stated Earlham’s baseball field had roughly three inches of standing water upon leaving. A makeup date is being discussed between the schools at this time. The West Central Valley baseball and softball squads travel to Audubon for a nonconference game against the Wheelers. First pitch of both varsity contests is 7 p.m.
