The top scorer on this year’s West Central Valley/Nodaway Valley/AC-GC girls soccer team goes to high school in Stuart. West Central Valley sophomore Meredith Marks has accounted for 15 of the squad’s 38 goals this spring. Marks also leads the team with 81 total shots and 38 shots on goal. She recorded a hat trick on three separate occasions this year in victories over Greene County, Atlantic, and Knoxville. The West Central Valley/Nodaway Valley/AC-GC girls soccer team closes their regular season schedule next week with home games against Harlan Tuesday in Greenfield and versus Atlantic Thursday in Stuart.
