The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Board met Wednesday in regular session.
The Board continued to discuss plans for the 20th anniversary celebration of the Greene County Community Center. A tentative date is November 16th. Some activities that are planned include: a climbing wall, an obstacle course, and other kid games. There will also be prizes including a drawing for one free membership to the community center.
The Board then discussed the assistant director position. With the resignation of Sean Ostendorf, applications have been received. The deadline was yesterday for applications to be accepted. The Board then tabled their decision on the timber management program, after a preliminary walk-through was done of Daubendiek Park.
