The Greene County High School Class of 2018 will have their commencement ceremony this weekend.
It will take place at 2pm in the middle school gym in Jefferson Sunday. The senior awards night took place earlier this week. Superintendent Tim Christensen tells Raccoon Valley Radio how much money was given away to this year’s seniors.
“Over $700,000 in total was given out on Tuesday night (and) over $200,000 came directly from Greene County. I had the privilege of handing out about 60 scholarships totaled $76,400. (It’s) Very exciting and a great opportunity for our kids.”
