West Central Valley High School will serve as the site for a pair of Class 1A Substate 7 quarterfinal matches early next week. The Iowa High School Athletic Association released boys soccer postseason pairings recently; the organization granted the Wildcat boys soccer team hosting rights for two opening round games of the tournament on Monday, May 21. The first contest features the AHSTW Vikings (11-1 overall) against the Panorama Panthers (2-10 overall) at 5 p.m. The Wildcats are playing in the nightcap game against the Atlantic Trojans around 7 p.m. West Central Valley, and Atlantic met once during the regular season in a tournament match at Atlantic. The Wildcats bested the Trojans, 6-2. The West Central Valley boys soccer team posts an overall record of 6-6 and resumes their season tonight against the AHSTW Vikings. The varsity game kicks off at 7 p.m. from West Central Valley High School.
