The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
Loretta Sloss with the Stuart Chamber of Commerce will discuss concerns regarding rental policies at the pocket park and Lawbaugh Park. The Council will also conduct two public hearings. The first is regarding an amendment to the City’s budget for the current fiscal year and the second is for the adoption of a plan for a housing urban revitalization area. Following the hearings the Council will vote on the respective resolutions
Other action items include: two reservations for the National Historic Preservation Commission Meeting in Des Moines, a concert proposal by the WCV Pastoral Association, tax sale proceedings on a City held property, bond financing, and a report from Stuart Police Chief Reha.
The meeting begins at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers at Stuart City Hall.
