The Perry School Board will convene Monday evening in regular session.
The meeting will start with reports from High School Principal Dan Marburger about end-of-year activities and events, and from Superintendent Clark Wicks about several topics including the latest on the Dewey Field renovation project. In general business, the Board will consider approving a “Capturing Kids Hearts” program for the middle and high school, to be implemented in the next school year. Following that, they will consider an agreement for the “Success Room,” as discussed at April’s meeting. The school would lease the building located at 1030 26th Street for the learning facility, paying $1,000 per month, plus utilities.
Other action items on the agenda include: the paraeducator roster for 2018-2019; summer food service wages; meal prices; fundraisers for the next school year; a trip to the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference; revisions to Board policies, and the first reading of a new policy; pay rates for certified and support staff; and substitute bus driver pay. The meeting will conclude with a closed session for the annual evaluation of the superintendent and setting goals for next year.
The meeting will be held Monday at 6 p.m. in the high school’s Brady Library.
