Dallas Co Supervisors 3-27

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

Much of the meeting will be devoted to the new County Law Enforcement Center. The Board will hear an update on the progress of construction, and will also consider a pay application from construction managers the Samuels Group for seven pay requests. The Supervisors will also consider finalizing amendments to a 28E agreement with the City of Adel for road maintenance, which were approved by the Adel City Council last week.

Additionally, the Board will set times and dates for three different public hearings. The first two are for the first readings of changes to general assistance and veterans affairs ordinances. The third will be a hearing to discuss a software agreement with Tyler Technologies. Other items on the agenda include: a health plan renewal; ratification of the Sheriff’s Office union contract; and a Human Services Campus landscaping workshop. The meeting will conclude with a possible closed session to discuss purchase of real estate.

The meeting will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
