The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The Board awarded contracts for three upcoming bridge and culvert replacement projects to Gus Construction out of Adair. The projects in Victory and Grant Townships, and on Adair Road, total around $1,177,000. County Engineer Josh Sebern also informed the Board that they have purchased seven Iowa Department of Transportation vehicles and will host a Hungry Canyons Alliance quarterly meeting on June 1st.

The Board also approved a proposal for roofing repairs on the County Courthouse with Schafer Roofing out of Adair for $22,700. The project should be complete in June. Other action items approved by the Board include: two new employee contracts, an appropriations resolution for the 2018-2019 fiscal year, and an amendment to the 2017-2018 fiscal budget.
