whiterock conservancyWith the onset of spring, Whiterock Conservancy in Coon Rapids has begun their seasonal programming. The programs continue with the season’s first Forest Therapy Guided Walk on Sunday from 1-4pm.

Executive Director Dan Gudahl explains the walk’s goal. “There’s a couple out of Lamoni that are certified forest therapists and they take people through a guided walk through the forest to help them enhance their senses and relax a bit more and disconnect from their cell phones and really take a deep dive into the nature around them. That’s been really popular with a lot of people.”

The walk will begin at the conservancy’s River Campground. Cost is $25 and pre-registration is required.
