The annual Friends of the Perry Public Library Spring Book Sale will be held tomorrow and Saturday.
Friends Co-Chair Lois Hoger says they will once again offer a wide range of items for reasonable prices. “They will find some books that have hardly been used, some are very special editions. We also have come CD’s, DVD’s, and some of the prints that you were able to rent out through the public library will also be available for sale. It’s quite a variety, and that meeting room will be full of all kinds of items.”
All the proceeds from the book sale will go to the library through the Friends group. Hoger says the money they raise is instrumental to making sure the library has everything it needs. “We provide them some monetary support, and also some physical support through our volunteers, so that they can provide programming that maybe normally wouldn’t be covered in their funding.”
The book sale will be held in the Perry Public Library’s large meeting room, and will run tomorrow from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and then Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
