Two games into their programs history and the Panorama girls soccer team (2-0 overall) continues to build positive momentum. The Panthers competed in their first road contest as a high school soccer program Tuesday, visiting Logan-Magnolia High School for a nonconference match. Four Panorama players accounted for eight goals in a shutout victory. Six of the eight goals came off the feet of freshmen sisters Audrey and Paige Cmelik with three goals apiece. Juniors Maise Knapp and Jaelyn Waddle added a goal each in the victory. Combined with last week’s 12-0 win over Grand View Chrisitan, Panorama is 2-0 on the season while outscoring their opponents, 20-0, in 120 minutes of on-field time this spring. The Panorama boys soccer team fell in the nightcap against Logan-Magnolia, 2-0. Both Panorama varsity soccer teams resume their season Thursday at home versus the Greene County Rams. The varsity girls game kicks off around 5 p.m. with the boys game to follow 20 minutes after the conclusion of the girl’s contest.
