The monthly meeting of the Perry Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors group will be held tomorrow at noon in the upstairs large meeting room of the Towncraft Building.
Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti says she’s enjoyed working with the Ambassadors group so far, and has found their input invaluable. Though the group currently has more members than the Chamber Board ever anticipated, Pasutti says there’s always room for more. “It’s just a great chance to get involved with the Chamber. Kind of that extra layer of the Chamber to have a group that’s interested and passionate about the community and the Chamber itself. And to know what’s going on, and to be an extra set of hands when we need it. So when we’re planning ahead, we can call on that group to help us and kind of help fuel some of those ideas.”
One activity the Ambassadors are helping with is a plan for the Perry Farmers Market, specifically the themes for the individual weeks. Anyone interested in joining the Chamber Ambassadors can call or stop into the Chamber office, or contact Pasutti or Board President Emily Leslie.
