The Audubon County Fairgrounds served as the location for Midwest Partnership’s fourth annual EntreBASH last month. About 50 business professionals attended the networking event, with the majority representing entities in the service industry. Some of the professions represented include painting services, restaurants, and home health care businesses. The event also drew plenty of positive feedback.
Economic Development Coordinator Stacie Euken talks about the most well-received portions of the evening. “Strategic planning and business planning seemed to be the top topic when looking at the survey results. As well as access to capital and just trying to find places to get money or be more financially stable.
The event is on a rotation so that each of the four counties in the region: Adair, Guthrie, Greene, and Audubon, can serve as a host. Next year’s event will be in Greene County, though a date hasn’t been determined.
