The Greene County School Board will meet twice tonight.
The work session will start at 5:15pm. The Board will be discussing the new high school, regional career academy and renovating the current high school into a middle school with OPN Architects. The Board will not take any action on any items during the work session.
The regular meeting will begin at 6:30pm. Under old business, the Board will consider for approval the second reading of a new board policy for online fundraising campaigns and purchasing land.
Under new business, the Board will consider approving audit bids for the 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-2020 school years; a rental agreement with the City of Rippey for the baseball parking lot; a service agreement with the Iowa Department of Administrative Services; the 2018 fiscal year budget amendment; the 2018-19 contracts for coaches, teacher leadership positions and administration, the 2018-19 school calendar, and fundraising requests. Additionally, the Board will discuss high school science classes, the Iowa Job for America’s Graduates program and summer sales tax and physical plant and equipment levy (PPEL) projects.
Both meetings will take place in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
