After canceling the Hugh Norman Co-Ed Relays due to the weather, the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys track team is hoping for better conditions for tonight’s Tiger Relays. However, the National Weather Service in Des Moines is calling for likely rain and thunderstorms for Adel today beginning in the afternoon hours. The area’s best chance of thunderstorms is forecasted to occur after 7 p.m. Today’s Tiger Relays will feature boys track and field athletes from Carroll Community School, Dallas Center-Grimes HS, Grinnell, Ogden, PCM, Van Meter, Winterset. Weather permitting, first events will begin around 4:30 p.m. Listen to the Raccoon Valley Radio Network all spring for cancellation and delay information of area sports and community events.
