Students and teachers spent a little time outside Thursday morning after a false alarm sounded at the Perry High School and Middle School.
Just before 8 a.m., a fire alarm sounded in both buildings, and the school was evacuated. It was quickly determined it was a false alarm, and everyone was able to return to the building after just 15 minutes. It’s unknown what caused the alarm to trigger, but school officials say there was never any danger to anyone at the schools.
