Nearly every one of Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity spring sports teams are returning to the playing field today. The ADM boys and girls golf, boys and girls soccer, and girls track are scheduled to return to competition. The busy day of Tiger athletics begins at 1 p.m. this afternoon with the ADM boys golf team competing in an invitational tournament at the Woodward Golf Club. The tournament will feature golfer from ADM, Ballard, Dallas Center-Grimes, Madrid, Perry, and Woodward-Granger.
The Tiger girls golf tees off their home schedule around 4 p.m. from the River Valley Golf Course in Adel for a nonconference meet against Dallas Center-Grimes. ADM’s girls track team is staying within the Dallas County borders as they return to competition in the Waukee Relays at 4:30 p.m. The meet features athletes from 13 schools across the state including Raccoon River Conference members Boone and Carlisle.
The ADM soccer teams close the day’s events with a pair of nonconference road games at 7 p.m. The #11 Tiger boys soccer team (1-0 overall) visits Knoxville, while the #4 ADM girls (1-0 overall) battle the Norwalk Lady Warriors.
