The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn prom will be held Saturday, and students are invited for a night in an “Enchanted Forest.”

The evening will start with the grand march from 7:15-8 p.m. in the north gym, which is open to the public. The dance will run from 8-11 in the middle school commons. During the dance, juniors and seniors in attendance will get to vote for prom king and queen, which will be announced towards the end. Tickets for the dance cost $20 and can be purchased in the high school office.

Following the dance will be the after prom party at an assortment of locales around Adel. The theme is “Candyland,” and there will be festivities at the high school, the old middle school, and the Adel Family Fun Center. There will be shuttles to take attendees to each location. Activities include casino games, an escape room, bowling, and a hypnotist show. Check-in for after prom will be from 11:30-midnight, and the event will run until 5 a.m. Sunday. There is no additional cost to attend the after prom party, but it’s only open to ADM juniors and seniors and their dates.
