The West Central Valley School Board will meet in regular session tonight. The meeting will begin with a budget hearing at 6:30pm. The hearing will include a resolution adopting the 2018-2019 fiscal year budget, as well as a resolution authorizing redemption of general obligation school refunding bonds.

The regular meeting will follow at 7pm. During the meeting, the Board will look to set a public hearing for a fiscal year 2018 budget amendment. They will also continue discussion on additions to the Dexter Elementary parking lot. Other action items include: an FFA Convention overnight trip request; the sale of a district-owned van; an overview of 2017-2018 academic assessments; a sports sharing agreement; a resolution on pCards; a resolution to adopt the Dallas County Multi Jurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan; bus bids; and elementary counseling.

The meeting will conclude with a negotiations closed session, followed by an open session to take action on the negotiations.
