Shawn King 27 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a controlled substance violation and failure to affix tax stamp.
A deputy tried to locate 3 dogs running at large on J Avenue near 300th Street.
A deputy investigated a theft in the 900 block of Main Street, Grand Junction.
Saturday, April 7th
Jamie Mercado 36 of Webster City was booked into the jail for driving while barred and operating while under the influence 2nd offense.
A deputy investigated a fire in the 1700 block of T Avenue. They were burning trees.
A deputy assisted with a fire in the 400 block of Percival Street. The fire was hay bales and Rippey Fire responded and put the fire out.
A deputy assisted with a controlled burn that got out of control in the 1000 block of Orchard Avenue. Jefferson Fire responded and put the fire out.
A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.
A deputy assisted with a property exchange in the 2400 block of 337th Street.
A deputy assisted with a controlled burn that got out of control on 140th Street and F Avenue. Churdan Fire and Jefferson responded to the fire.
A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 100 block of Connant Street, Farlin.

A deputy assisted a motorist on X Avenue and 330th Street.
A deputy assisted a motorist on 300th and E Avenue.
A deputy investigated a controlled burn on J Avenue near 210th Street.
A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on N Avenue near 170th Street. Edgar Tegtmeier 88 of Des Moines lost control of his 2002 Buick Lesabre and struck a power pole. The estimated damage to the car was around 4,000 dollars and 1500 to the power pole.
A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on W Avenue near 220th Street.
A deputy towed a vehicle that was left at 110th Street and U Avenue. The
vehicle was blocking a stop sign.
A deputy investigated a single vehicle rollover on Quaker Avenue and 243rd Street. Crawford Petterson 17 of Jefferson lost control of his 2005 Ford F150. The vehicle was a total loss.
A deputy investigated controlled substances that were found in a driveway in the 800 block of Grant Street, Scranton.
A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident in the 1600 block of U Avenue. Candice Ortiz 30 of Grand Junction lost control of her 1989 Ford F150 and struck a DOT snow plow. The estimated damage to the F150 was around 3,500 dollars. The damage to the DOT truck was around 25,000 dollars. Candice was transported by Greene County EMS to the Greene County Medical Center. Jeffrey Ford 57 of Jefferson was uninjured and was the driver of the DOT truck.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
