Deanna Berch of De Soto was traveling south on Highway 169 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2000.00.

Sheldon Brittain of Redfield was traveling east on Lansing St and G Trail when he was going to fast on the gravel and went into the ditch and striking the embankment. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $3500.00. Brittain was cited and released for failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way, driving while license suspended, speeding, careless driving and no insurance.

John Phillip Tafta Jr., age 36 of 23 North St., Hartford was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of burglary, theft and trafficking in stolen weapons.

Dimitri Franklyn Oneal Woodruff, age 24 of 70 Willis Ave., Perry was arrested in the 17000 block of J Ave., for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended and failure to provide proof of insurance.

Kenneth R Schultz, age 69 of M401 State Highway 97, Marshfield, WI was arrested in the 24000 block N Ave., De Soto for OWI.

David Anthony Moore, age 52 of 1711 W 3rd St., Perry was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Jason Richard Spence, age 40 of 204 5th St., Minburn was arrested in the 14000 block of N Ave., for driving while barred.

Sarah Gail of Polk City was traveling in the 25000 block of W Ave when her vehicle hit a slick patch of ice and lost control going into the ditch and rolling over onto the roof. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $10000.00.

Chidera Angelina Nwankwo, age 22 of 6700 SE 5th St., Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for scheduling conference-original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
