The Perry Firefighter Association is looking for public support to purchase new equipment.

Recently, they sent out fundraising requests to Perry residents, asking for donations to help them acquire extrication equipment. They hope to raise $10,000, and are asking for a minimum donation of $35 to help the cause. As added incentive, each individual or family that makes a donation will get a free 8×10 natural color studio portrait, taken by a professional photographer on Saturday, May 19th at the Perry Fire Station.

Checks can be made out to the Perry Firefighter’s Association and mailed to the station at 908 Willis Ave, Perry, IA 50220. Anyone with questions is encouraged to reach out to Association President Grason Hill at 515-491-1414.
