Midwest Partnership is offering free tickets for those who wish to attend the Western Iowa Advantage Annual Banquet. The banquet is Tuesday beginning at 5:30pm at the Midwest Industries Hangar in Ida Grove. The event begins with a social, followed by dinner at 6pm and the program at 6:15.

The program will feature Angela Belden Martinez, the Regional Director of the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA). The EDA is responsible for leading the federal economic development agenda within the U.S. Department of Commerce. Martinez has worked on several multi-agency initiatives, including: the Jobs and Innovation Accelerator Challenge, the Investing in Manufacturing Communities Partnership, and the EDA’s Regional Innovation Strategies Program. She also has previous experience in political, public affairs, and motion picture communications.
