The Adel Public Library has several activities in April that kids of all ages can take part in.
First, they are continuing their weekly programs for young children throughout the month. Each weekday at 10:30 a.m., kids are invited to the free “Wee” programs. “Wee Sing” is held Mondays and Thursdays, “Wee Read” is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and Fridays are “Wee Play.” Additionally, this Wednesday at 2 p.m., young children are invited to take part in “Wee Bake.” There is no registration required, and anyone in pre-kindergarten is welcome.
There are also a few programs coming up for school-aged kids. The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District has two early-outs in April, and students are invited to free programs at the library on both days. This Wednesday, they will host “Bored Games” at 2 p.m., and the game for this month is “King of Tokyo.” On April 25th, kids are invited to create “Armpit Fudge,” which will also take place at 2 p.m.
