Recently the 2018 Paint Iowa Beautiful grant winners were announced, and communities from both Guthrie and Adair County received assistance. Menlo and Greenfield were two of 110 communities around the state to receive paint donations from Diamond Vogel Paint to complete community projects.

The City of Menlo was awarded paint to update the City Hall’s exterior, while Greenfield’s Adair County Historical Museum will receive the paint for the Penn Avenue Church. This is the second consecutive year the Adair County Historical Society has received paint for historical buildings. In the 15 year partnership with Keep Iowa Beautiful, Diamond Vogel has awarded over 9,648 gallons of paint for 786 community projects in Iowa.
