Friday, March 30th

12:35am: Shawn Ellsbury requested an officer at 504 South Walnut Street. Mr. Ellsbury wanted to advise the officer he had just had intercourse with a witch, who had placed a hex on him. The officer made sure Ellsbury was not a danger to himself and others before departing.

1:06am: An officer located an Open Door at 900 East Hwy. 30.

1:20am: An Open Door was located by the officer at 509 East Gallo Road. The officer secured the business.

1:46am: Shawn Ellsbury continued to call the Greene County Law Enforcement Center numerous times advising of a witch putting a hex on him. Mr. Ellsbury was directed numerous times to stop calling, but continued to do so. The officer responded to 504 South Walnut Street to speak with Mr. Ellsbury and at about

1:52am: placed Shawn Ellsbury, 49 of Jefferson under arrest for, “Harassment 3rd Degree – Simple and Interference with Official Acts – Simple.”

9:58am: City Hall requested an officer to look at suspicious mail received at 220 North Chestnut Street. The letters were determined to be okay by the officer.

1:03pm: An officer assisted an elderly female at 106 West Washington Street. The female had locked herself out of her running vehicle with her dog inside.

1:54pm: An officer was requested at 702 South Locust Street for an argument between occupants at the residence. The argument had ended upon the officer’s arrival and no further action was requested by the subjects involved.

4:23pm: Michael Coffman reported a Careless Driver southbound on Hwy. 4, heading towards Jefferson. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.

5:28pm: Eric Chrystal reported being Harassed by a Jefferson woman. The officer made contact with the female and advised her to end the unwanted contact.

5:55pm: Wilmar Aguilar spoke with an officer concerning a Civil Child Custody Issue occurring at 203 South Grimmell Road.

9:58pm: Justin Leist reported a possible No Contact Order Violation. The officer is investigating.

10:26pm: An officer located an Open Door in the 500 Block of Greenewood Road.

Saturday, March 31st

1:12am: An officer conducted a Consent Search on a Traffic Stop at 220th and Oakland. Nothing illegal was located.

3:20am: While on patrol, an officer located a stray dog in the 300 Block of south Oak Street. The animal was returned to the owner with a time period given to license the animal.

4:13am: A caller advised of a possible Intoxicated Driver on Hwy. 4, heading south towards Jefferson. The officer did not locate the vehicle.

7:50am: The Jefferson HyVee reported 16 separate Thefts from 106 West Washington Street that were committed by the same suspect. The Thefts had occurred between January 1st , 2018 and March 1st , 2018. The merchandise taken was food and alcohol products. The officer has requested an Arrest Warrant for Jill Ranae Kanealy, 35 Grand Junction for, “16 Counts of Theft 5th Degree – Simple.”

8:55am: Sarrita Peed spoke with an officer concerning a Civil Property Issue occurring at 804 West Harrison Street.

3:55pm: Steve Murphy reported receiving Harassing Threats from a renter at 506 East State Street. The officer is attempting to reach the renter to end the contact.

9:24pm: Jesse Summerfield requested a Welfare Check on a child at 409 South Chestnut Street. The officer made contact with the child, who was fine.

Sunday, April 1st

4:32am: Cody Stewart requested a Welfare Check on a female at 108 East Central Avenue, Lot 58. The officer made contact with the female, who was intoxicated, but fine.

8:02am: An officer located a vehicle parked on the side of the road in the 1200 Block of South Mulberry Street. The officer learned the owner was going to remove the vehicle later in the day.=

11:42am: Stephanie Coil reported a stray dog in the 400 Block of South High Street. The officer located the animal’s owner and issued a verbal warning for “Animal at Large Prohibited” and gave a time frame to license the animal.

3:16pm: Mike Paris reported losing his cell phone at 777 Wild Rose Lane.

5:16pm: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 1200 Block of Westwood Drive.

6:40pm: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 100 Block of Ram Drive.

6:42pm: Bradley Elmer reported a dog running loose in the 400 Block of South Elm Street. The owner had retrieved the animal before the officer’s arrival.

6:52pm: Taylor Boude spoke with an officer at the LEC concerning a Civil Child Custody Issue.

7:56pm: Brittany Russell reported a possible Attempted Burglary at 108 East Central Avenue, Lot 68. A screen had been cut on the trailer. Entry was not made by the suspect.

9:02pm: Roger Custer reported a possible Scam on Craig’s List. He is selling pats on the site and was contacted by someone who was going to send him a large check to deposit and then pay someone the difference when they arrive to pick up the parts. Custer recognized it as a scam and did not participate.

9:09pm: A female in the 100 Block of East Central Avenue called and requested an Ambulance, as she had drunk Bleach. The officer assisted EMS with the call.
