Freedom for Youth Ministries is once again hosting a free event in Jefferson tomorrow.

The non-profit organization is sponsoring Freedom Quest and it will take place at the Greene County Elementary gymnasium. It is a family-friendly atmosphere with games, crafts, prizes, food and more. Freedom for Youth Ministries came to Jefferson last summer and was here most recently this past February. South Central Regional Manager April Anderson talks about why they keep coming back to Jefferson and what their ultimate goal is.

“So Freedom Quest was developed as an initiative to just get the word out about Freedom for Youth Ministries. We’re looking for any communities throughout the state of Iowa who would be interested in having their own youth center.”

The free event takes place from 5:30 to 7pm. It is open to the public and it is a come-and-go event.
