The Greene County girls’ track & field squad will not compete in the Audubon Wheelerette Early Bird Meet. The event was originally set for today (Thurs.), but has been postponed.
Coach Derek Merk’s Rams won eight events in Jefferson on Tuesday at the four team Greene County Early Bird Meet and finished second to North Polk (Alleman) to open the outdoor season. Senior Megan Durbin led the Rams on Tuesday night by winning the high jump, the 200 and 400 meter dash races, and anchoring the winning 4 x 100 meter relay.
Next on the schedule is a coed meet hosted by Panorama in Panora on Tuesday, April 3.
