The dreary weather put a damper on the start of track season for ACGC. The Charger runners, jumpers, and throwers will have to wait a little longer, as both meets were postponed due to yesterday’s rainstorms.

The girls will head to Greene County this afternoon to officially get their season underway. The meet in Jefferson includes the host Rams and athletes from:  Paton-Churdan, Manson Northwest Webster, GIlbert, North Polk, Ogden, and South Hamilton. First events begin at around 4:30pm.

The boys meet at Audubon this afternoon was also postponed, with a date still to be determined. The boys will officially get their start on Thursday, and should have their full lineup available for the Perry Invitational. The girls will join the boys at this meet, and will face athletes from host Perry, as well as Saydel, Carroll, Winterset, and Panorama. Events begin at Jim Kaufman Track at 4:30.
