It may not be perfect weather in Jefferson today, but it’s much better than the rain, wind, and cold of Monday. Greene County school officials postponed the Greene County Early Bird Coed track & field meet from yesterday until today. Starting time this afternoon is 4:30 p.m. at the Linduska Field track at Greene County High School.

The Rams girls and boys welcome girls and boys’ teams from Paton-Churdan, Ogden, North Polk (Alleman), and Manson-Northwest Webster, along with the Ft. Dodge St. Edmond boys, and girls’ squads from Gilbert and Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center.

No team scoring will be kept, but anyone that wins an individual event will get a t-shirt with a design and Greene County Invitational printed on the front, and the word Champion printed on the back.
