Today was supposed to be when Greene County hosts the Ram Early Bird Coed Track & Field Meet at Linduska Field in Jefferson to open the outdoor portion of the track & field season. Cold temperatures and rain today have prompted school officials to postpone the meet for a day. It now is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, March 27.

Boys and girls teams scheduled to take part in the Rams’ Early Bird meet in addition to the Rams are Paton-Churdan, Manson-Northwest Webster, North Polk (Alleman), Ogden, and South Hamilton (Jewell). In addition, girls’ teams from ACGC and Gilbert are scheduled to attend, as are the boys from Ft. Dodge St. Edmond.

No team scoring will be kept, but medals will be awarded.
